Long Term Care Insurance
In a nutshell
Long Term Care Insurance provides some or all of the costs of nursing home care. In the event of becoming incapacitated and unable to care for yourself, Long Term Care Insurance is there to ensure that your well-being is maintained and that your family isn't burdened with the costs associated with your care.
How does it work exactly?
When you meet the criteria for long-term care--an inability to carry out certain everyday tasks, cognitive impairment, and/or medical necessity--your premium payments stop and the insurance kicks in.
